Philosophy and ethics
Aim &
Objective: To enable residents
of small areas to have
greater control over their group destiny.
- who
can write
You can write for
Village press and you may do this with you named as the author or with "author's
name withheld on request". The Managing Editor must know who you are. Your
identity will be protected by professional ethics.
- what can you
write
FACT: Your opinion of any actions by anyone -- but not an attack on any
individual -- will be accepted. Factual support with references are
desired and will be appended.
BIOGRAPHIES: We welcome stories and/or information about local people but
the subject must give approval - or closest relative if the subject is no
longer living.
FICTION: If you have any stories, poems,
ARTWORK & PHOTOS: if you are the author or have a right to the material.
YOUR IDEAS: Whatever is not covered above but you would like to see in
print, is on.
- what will we publish
Whatever you send will not be altered in any way if you want. Proof
reading for errors and suggested sub-editing is available, but the ultimately
published material will have your approval before published.
- who is responsible
The Managing
Editor reserves the right to refuse publication.
Support for this site comes
from COFCAL Developments for a Better World Ltd and various advertisers
directly supporting our local communities. They have no controls what-so-ever on the
content of "Village News-on-Net" and are not liable in any way whatsoever for
anything run on this site. ONLY the author of each individual "article",
and the editor for everything else, alone, accepts full responsibility for
publication.
Every attempt will be made to ensure accuracy and defending views will
also be published "word exact" as received.
Managing Editor, Peter E.Rodgers, T.T.C., Dip.T.,B.Soc.Sci.[Psychology].
